THE RECORD COMPANY ‘EARLY SONGS AND RARITIES’ LTD EDITION LP SET FOR RELEASE IN THE UK VIA SNAKEFARM RECORDS ON NOVEMBER 29TH

25th October, 2019

Grammy-nominated trio The Record Company will release ´Early Songs and Rarities´, a special edition LP of 11 previously unreleased recordings. This strictly limited pressing will be available in the US for Record Store Day Black Friday on November 29th, with Snakefarm Records matching that release date in the UK.

The last two years have been huge ones for the Los Angeles-based band – Chris Vos (vocals, guitars, harmonica), Alex Stiff (bass, guitars, vocals) and Marc Cazorla (drums, piano, organ, vocals) – who released their sophomore album, ´All Of This Life´, on June 22, 2018, again via Snakefarm Records in the UK. The album debuted in the Top 5 on multiple US Billboard charts, and lead single / video, ‘Life To Fix’, hit #1 on the Billboard AAA charts and the Americana radio chart.

In the UK, meanwhile, the trio made both headline and Special Guest appearances, including a riotous show with Trombone Shorty at the Forum in London, as well as unleashing a spectacular two-song live performance on Jools Holland’s annual BBC Hootenanny show.

Earlier this year, The Record Company were featured on Bob Seger’s Farewell Tour in the US, earning standing ovations each night while playing to packed arenas. The band recently wrapped up a string of US dates with Blackberry Smoke, and shortly they’ll be returning to the UK as main support to Rival Sons.
